Welcome to BJSA Online!
Bhartiya Jan Seva Ashram (BJSA) is a voluntary civil society organisation established in 1992 and registered under Societies Registration Act 1860 in the same year. At present it is working in about 60 gram panchayats of three development blocks of Jaunpur district of Uttar Pradesh.
Since inception, BJSA is committed to bring about a positive change in the lives of poor, deprived and the marginalised people in its operational area. It aims at bringing the downtrodden to a level where they are assured of their basic rights – education, health and livelihood – and can live with dignity in a disease-free environment and pursue knowledge-based development.
To achieve this aim, BJSA seeks participation of children, youths and the elders in identifying leaders from among them. It develops programmes focused on political, socio-economical, educational and rights related issues so that the community, especially the rural community, can achieve self-reliance, and make their presence count, right from the local to the national level.
